Starting with your words, memories, and ideas, a professional songwriter carefully creates original lyrics and a unique melody just for you. Then, using AI‑enhanced production tools, we produce a studio-quality recording for you to review. Many people fall in love with this first draft. But we welcome any revisions and will incorporate them into a final polished recording.
3. You Receive Your Keepsakes
Your song and digital lyric art are delivered within 10–14 days, ready to stream, share, and treasure forever. Expedited turnaround is available as an add-on.

Yes. Every Heartsong includes one round of revisions after a first draft of the song has been created, so you can make sure the message, tone, or details feel true to your story. My goal is for your song to feel exactly right, so small adjustments are always welcome.

No problem at all — most people feel that way. The questionnaire is simply a starting point. You can share as much or as little as you want. If you want to arrange for a heart-to-heart interview by phone, we can accommodate that as well.
Additionally, we will reach out if we have any questions or need clarification as we work through your song. Just remember, your memories don’t need to be perfectly worded to inspire a song; they just need to be yours.

Absolutely. Many Heartsongs are created as surprise gifts. Just let me know in the questionnaire, and I’ll make sure all communication stays discreet so the moment is preserved.

Absolutely. Many Heartsongs are born from deeply personal moments, and you’re welcome to share whatever memories or feelings feel meaningful to you. Everything you share — in writing or during interviews — is treated with care and confidentiality. Your story is safe with me.
That said, I do ask that stories remain appropriate and non‑graphic. You never need to share explicit details for your song to feel honest, emotional, and true. If something feels too personal to put into words, you can simply describe the feeling, and I’ll take it from there.

If you’re on a tight timeline, I offer a Rush Turnaround option (3–5 days). This option is limited based on availability, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate urgent needs, especially for memorials or time‑sensitive events. Note: Instrumental versions of the song can be delivered within a rush turnaround timeframe, but no other add-ons are eligible for rush turnaround.

Yes. Add‑ons like sheet music, plaques, or a performance‑ready backing track can be ordered anytime after your Heartsong is complete. Some items (like sheet music) require additional turnaround time, but you’re never locked out of adding them later. Simply email hello@writemyheartsong.org and let us know you'd like to purchase an add-on. We'll get you an invoice and start working on your keepsake.
